General questions

Payment

No. We add no hidden fees and no fuel surcharge: the price you see is the price you pay, taxes included.

No need: your booking is registered and your guide has all the information. A digital confirmation is enough.

It depends on the destination, the duration and the number of travellers. As every private tour is tailor-made, the best way is to request a free, no-obligation quote.

By bank transfer or card, usually with a deposit on booking and the balance before departure. The exact terms are set out on your quote.

Before you go

They vary from country to country (yellow fever is often required, and malaria prevention is advised). We guide you on visas, vaccinations and paperwork; be sure to consult an international vaccination centre.

Light but covering clothing, sturdy shoes, sun protection, insect repellent, a plug adapter and your travel documents. A detailed packing list is sent to you before departure.

Booking

Free cancellation up to 72 hours before departure. Within that window, cancellation fees apply; no refund is given within the 24 hours before departure or in the event of a no-show.

Booking ahead is essential: our trips are tailor-made and arranged in advance to secure guides, vehicles, permits and accommodation.

As early as possible, especially in the dry season: lodges and permits (gorillas, national parks) are limited and go quickly.

Weather & terrain

Yes, we travel in all weather. If conditions become risky, the stage concerned is adapted, moved or postponed, and you are kept informed.

Comfortable, breathable clothing during the day, a warm layer for cool mornings and evenings, and good shoes for safaris and treks.
